Jennings, Eula M.

Eula M. Jennings 100, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 23, 2018, in her home at Hickory Ridge of Temperance surrounded by her loving family. Born, August 12, 1917, in Lambertville, MI, she was the daughter of Lawrence and May (Spaulding) Smith. Eula was born and raised in Lambertville, and graduated from the former Lambertville High School, where she starred and lettered in basketball. She loved watching sports to the day she died. Eula was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Louis Jennings. She was a member of Lambertville United Methodist Church for over 90 years. She, along with her husband, enjoyed over 60 years at their property on Hemmingway Lake in Central Michigan. She had a full time job as a mother and housewife; she was an excellent cook, baker and taught many of her skills that carried on today.
Eula and Louis raised three children, Darla (George) Versteeg, Arnold (Susan) Jennings and Cynthia Method; she was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was a lady with a huge heart and always found the best in people. Eula was one-of-a-kind and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be from 9-11 am, Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Lambertville United Methodist Church, 8165 Douglas Rd. (at Dean) Lambertville, MI, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. Reverend Devin Smith, officiating. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
